Hemmo is Head of Strategy at Cardano. He is responsible for all economic and market views affecting asset allocation and liability hedging. Prior to joining in 2008, Hemmo worked at Fortis MeesPierson, as Head of the Global Discretionary Fund Portfolio Team, running €5bn in assets.

In addition, Hemmo was a member of the International Policy Committee, responsible for the asset allocation views of Fortis Private Banking. Hemmo started his career in 1997 as a global investment strategist at Robeco. Hemmo holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Masters degree in Economics, from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
